Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho’s latest Instagram post has drawn over 5.2 million comments. This follows the Englishman being told he will “never play for a big club again” by Teddy Sheringham after a turbulent spell at Old Trafford, where he scored just 12 goals in 83 appearances and clashed with managers Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim.
Sancho has been exiled at United, with Amorim placing him and other unwanted players in a so-called “bomb squad.” Alongside Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia, he has been told to follow Marcus Rashford’s example by finding a new club.
The 25-year-old winger has been linked with moves to Juventus, Fenerbahce, and Borussia Dortmund, but no deal has yet materialised. His £250,000-a-week wages, with a contract running until June 2026, have proven a stumbling block in the market. However, comments on his latest post hint at a fourth club being interested - and its supporters seem just as emphatic about wanting him.
Sancho’s Post Ranks Among Instagram’s Most Commented Ever

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also among those keen to help Sancho secure an escape from M16, raising the prospect of a reunion in Istanbul with the former United boss. Solskjaer, who managed the club from 2018 to 2021, is now in charge at Besiktas. News of the possible link-up quickly set the rumour mill turning, and the club’s passionate fanbase has flooded Sancho’s comment section in a bid to persuade him even further.
His latest Instagram post, which shows photos of him relaxing on holiday, has racked up over 5.2 million comments, the vast majority of which simply read: “Come to Besiktas”. See the post below:
The club’s president Serdal Adali is willing to follow through with the fans’ wishes. “Just as much as the community wants him, I want him too,” he told Turkiye Today. “What matters is not only our desire, but also if the player wants to come to Turkey. We have a budget, and we will do our best to bring him here.
“Players like Jadon Sancho usually prefer clubs playing in the Champions League. Whether it happens today or not, it is hard to say. If it is possible, we will get him. Besiktas fans can rest assured.”

Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but the club declined the chance to sign him permanently - opting to pay a £5 million fee rather than £25 million for his services.
Lacking confidence, he now needs a club that will show him some love. With his latest Instagram post becoming the third most-commented on the platform ever, it’s clear just how badly Besiktas supporters - among the best in European football - want him.
