New Barcelona signing Marcus Rashford has opened up on his early days with the club and how it differs from being back in the Premier League with Manchester United
Rashford admits pre-season has been “tough” and that life at Barcelona is more intense and “complicated” than the Red Devils.
“It’s a new experience for me and I’m enjoying it. It’s very intense, different from English football. It’s hard to explain, but preseason has been tough. I was tired after training,” he told The Rest is Football.
“The weather also played its part. It’s not hard in terms of running, it’s more in possession drills and being consistent with the ball. It’s more complicated in that sense in terms of intensity. I’m looking forward to the season starting and playing against new teams.”
Rashford also sayd “it’s very refreshing to play” with his new team-mates and added that “they play at their own pace, like Pedri.”
The forward will be hoping to make his debut this weekend against Real Mallorca but Barca are still racing against the clock to register him in time for the match.
