Bournemouth settle deal structure for player’s exit – Loan with option to buy

Bournemouth winger Luis Sinisterra is edging closer to a move to Cruzeiro, with Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte reporting that the clubs have agreed the framework of a deal.

The move is set to be a one-season loan with an option to buy. With that structure in place, both sides are now working through the paperwork to get contracts signed and finalise the 26-year-old’s travel plans.

This loan arrangement contradicts an earlier report from GOAL, which claimed the transfer would be a permanent one.

Talks have advanced to the point where timelines are being discussed. The expectation in Brazil is that the final details will be settled before the player flies, but Cruzeiro are keeping exact dates under wraps.

Globo Esporte add that Sinisterra has already been briefed on the club and the country as part of Cruzeiro’s pitch. The winger has been identified as a fit for Leonardo Jardim’s style and for a specific gap in the squad. As club vice-president Pedro Junio put it earlier, “he’s an interesting player who fits our plan”.

What comes next is straightforward enough: signatures, registration and a ticket to Belo Horizonte. If nothing late gets in the way, Sinisterra will be the wide option Cruzeiro wanted – on loan for now, with a path to a permanent stay.
