After Manchester City signed James Trafford from Burnley, it seemed like they were content with their goalkeeping department comprising Ederson and the Englishman for next season.
However, like a bolt from the blue, Gianluigi Donnarumma has agreed personal terms with Manchester City after confirming his exit from Paris Saint-Germain.
Galatasaray have opened talks to sign Ederson, who could make way for the Italian to take his spot.
Much like how Manchester City News understands that Rodrygo would like to work with Pep Guardiola, the 26-year-old could also come in to further help reshape the Sky Blues’ roster.

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agent makes big claim amid Man City links
Enzo Raiola, Donnarumma’s agent, lambasted PSG and claimed that only Premier League clubs would have the requisite funds to sign his client, which would put Manchester City and Manchester United on red alert.
Raiola candidly discussed Donnarumma’s future, saying: “Perhaps only in the Premier League can they satisfy the club’s exaggerated financial demands.”

“They talk about respect, but at this point perhaps the respect is only financial.”
Raiola concluded: “It’s not about abandoning a project and finding the best for Gigio. Even from an image perspective, we need to take our positions to understand how to deal with the club.”
