Sources in Brazil give their take on Fulham swoop for attacker – Details on approach being explained

[Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte](https://ge.globo.com/futebol/futebol-internacional/futebol-ingles/noticia/2025/08/12/fulham-oferece-r-233-milhoes-ao-shakhtar-donetsk-por-kevin-ex-palmeiras.ghtml) have shared their view on Fulham’s move for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kevin, detailing the offer and the knock-on effects in his home country.

They confirm the Premier League side have tabled a €37m bid for the 22-year-old, who left Palmeiras for Ukraine in 2024. In just over a year, he’s made 55 appearances, scored 16 goals and registered 10 assists for Shakhtar.

The player has been the team’s standout performer this season, especially in the Champions League qualifying rounds. Against Yves Tempere, he scored one goal and provided two assists. In the following tie, against Turkey’s Besiktas, he found the net three times – twice in the first leg and once in the return fixture.

The Brazilian report explains that Palmeiras negotiated a 10% sell-on clause and will also benefit from a further 2% through FIFA’s solidarity mechanism. That combination could bring in around €4.4m (£3.7m) should Fulham’s proposal be accepted.

Kevin’s original move from Brazil was worth €12m fixed, plus €3m in bonuses, with Desportivo Brasil entitled to part of the fee. Globo Esporte’s coverage makes it clear that this summer approach could provide the Brazilian club with an unexpected windfall, but the final decision rests with Shakhtar.
