Everton have made a £37m bid for AS Roma striker Artem Dovbyk, according to Football Insider.
The Toffees have had an interesting summer transfer window so far with David Moyes bringing in Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, Adam Aznou and Charly Alcaraz on permanent deals, while Jack Grealish has joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City too.
But it seems that the club haven't finished upgrading their forward options just yet, and a bid has been made to Serie A side Roma for a new striker.
Everton Make £37m Bid for Dovbyk
Artem Dovbyk in action for Ukraine
Dovbyk, who has been described as 'spectacular', enjoyed a strong campaign for Roma in 2024/25 as he netted 17 goals and registered four assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.
That form has seen clubs take a keen eye on his situation, and Moyes has now seen his side table a mega-bid for the 28-year-old to bring him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Friedkin Group, who own both Everton and AS Roma, are leading the charge for the Ukraine international, and it's understood that the player is keen on a move to the Premier League this summer. He is also of interest to West Ham, Leeds United and Sunderland this summer, but it's the Blues who have made the first formal move.
Everton have been keen to add new forwards to the squad and had been in advanced talks with Lyon for Malick Fofana, as revealed by GIVEMESPORT correspondent Fabrizio Romano on X, while a move for Tyler Dibling has so far stalled due to Southampton's excessive demands.
The Toffees have had multiple bids rejected for the teenager, with Southampton asking for up to £50m to do business, but Everton have now begun looking at alternative targets instead, and now a move for striker Dovbyk has been made.
