Arsenal Women have announced their travelling party for their pre-season training camp at the Adidas HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany today. Leah Williamson will stay at home to recuperate from a knee injury picked up during the Euros semi-final against Italy. Kim Little has a small injury, while Lia Walti is recovering from minor surgery due to an abscess.
Laura Wienroither is not included as she will leave the club this summer. New signings Taylor Hinds, Olivia Smith and Anekke Borbe are included. Youngster Jessie Gale also has a knock, while U21 players Sophie Harwood, Eva Gray and Niamh Peacock will also travel. We understand there will be a BCD friendly played in Germany against Frankfurt followed by a couple of friendlies when Arsenal arrive back in the UK.
