Shedeur Sanders is the talk of the NFL world after his electric preseason debut with the Cleveland Browns. The former Colorado quarterback threw two touchdown passes in his first taste of NFL action, impressing fans and putting his name into consideration for the starting job ahead of the regular season.

It was a great performance from Sanders, who's had an up-and-down offseason. He's been a frequent volunteer and presence in his new community, but Sanders also racked up two speeding violations in Ohio this summer.

The quarterback appears to have moved beyond his automotive issues, but one of his teammates is now in hot water after a speeding infraction of their own.

According to Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot, star defensive end Myles Garrett was cited over the weekend for going 100 mph in a 60 mph zone. The infraction took place in Strongsville, a Cleveland suburb located around 30 minutes outside of the city center.

The team had just returned from their preseason game in Charlotte, where they defeated the Carolina Panthers 30-10.

Unfortunately, this isn't Garrett's first incident involving a vehicle. While driving his Porsche 911 on a wet road in 2022, Garrett lost control of the car, swerving to avoid an animal.

He flipped several times in a devastating crash, a moment he said opened his eyes to how dangerous high-speed driving can be.

"This will be definitely a wake-up call for me, just try to be smart overall with driving," the former No. 1 overall pick said at the time.

"Don't take anything for granted. Be grateful that I'm still able to be here and just take my time."

Cabot noted that Garrett received a $250 fine, and can pay it without the need to appear in court. This is his eighth speeding citation since being drafted, according to Cleveland's WKYC.

Since being drafted with the top overall pick in 2017, Garrett has become one of the best players in the NFL. He is a four-time All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler and won the league's Defensive Player of the Year award for his efforts during the 2023 season.

Garrett, set to enter his ninth NFL season later this year, is already Cleveland's all-time leader in sacks. After a formal trade request this offseason, the Browns kept Garrett in Cleveland for the long haul with a four-year, $160 million extension.
