The former England international was linked with the Black Eagles during the last transfer window and the 34-year-old is again back on their agenda.
[Fotospor](https://www.fotospor.com/galatasaray/galatasaray-alamadi-besktas-getiriyor-sag-bekin-krali-683688) report on Besiktas’ search for an experienced right back as they make it one of their priorities going into the final weeks of the transfer window.
Besiktas have been linked with Bright Osayi-Samuel, Kyle Walker Peters and Emerson Royal this summer, but have now turned their attention to the Newcastle United player.
It’s claimed the Super Lig side are ready to step in for Trippier and that Newcastle United are prepared to sell the veteran. With Tino Livramento seen as the first choice right back under Eddie Howe, Trippier could look to move on.
This week Besiktas have also been linked with West Ham United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka and at this stage it seems Ole Gunnar Solskjær is looking to the Premier League to address the right back position.
Trippier made 31 appearances last season and is contracted to the Magpies until June 2026.
