On Tuesday, Corriere dello Sport reported Fabio Silva is pushing for an exit from Wolves and keen on a move to AS Roma.
There was an indication the two clubs have held talks but there was no agreement over the terms of a move.
Tuttomercatoweb report new contact took place between Wolves and Roma late on Tuesday and progress was made. They reiterate that Silva is keen on a move to the Italian side and already has an agreement over personal terms, with the 23-year-old Portuguese attacker set to sign a five-year contract worth €2.5m per season.
The outlet report that Wolves continue to ask for €20m to sell the striker despite his contract at Molineux expiring in 2026. Roma only want to pay a fee around €12m to €13m.
Even if there is no agreement between the two clubs, talks are ongoing and another meeting between them is expected to take place later today. There is optimism that further progress can be made.
