LeedsUnited are set to complete the signing of Dominic Calvert-Lewinon a free transfer, according to David Ornstein.
Ornstein reports for The Athletic that Leeds have reached an agreement in principle with Calvert-Lewin.
The 28-year-old striker will immediately undergo a medical for Leeds at Thorp Arch before signing his contract.
Calvert-Lewin to Leeds
The giant striker has been a free agent after his contract at Everton expired at the end of June.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed last month that Calvert-Lewin was a potential signing for Man Utd this summer.
Romano said that Calvert-Lewin had been offered to United, who registered the approach and the costs of bringing the player to Old Trafford.
It was later reported that United explored the possibility of bringing in the giant striker as a backup option to Benjamin Sesko.
However, it is Leeds who appear to have signed the striker.
Newcastle, West Ham, Sunderland and clubs in Europe and the Middle East were are also interested.

Calvert-Lewin spent nine seasons at Everton, scoring 71 goals in 274 games.
He was one of England’s most admired strikers a few years back, even scoring four goals in 11 caps for his country.
However, he has struggled with injury problems in recent years that have derailed his career.
