**Alexander Isak has stunned Newcastle United fans with his behaviour this summer as the 25-year-old tries to force through a move to Premier League champions Liverpool.**
It has been reported that Isak has been unhappy at Newcastle for the past year, ever since Paul Mitchell refused to hand the Sweden international a new contract, stating that he was already on good terms and it didn't make financial sense for the club.
They may have been good points by the sporting director, but Isak was promised a new contract on higher wages, and he feels slighted that this never happened, and as such, he downed tools this summer, knowing that Liverpool were keen to take him to Anfield.
Newcastle fans always felt that Isak was a nice guy, a straight shooter and a player who loved playing in the black and white, but while that may have been true for a while, the tide has certainly turned now, and Isak has told Newcastle he will not play for them again.

Now, reports have surfaced around Isak's Agent, which explains so much. Vlado Lemic is one of, if not the most controversial, agents in the business, and frankly, it's astounding he's still in the game at all.
He has been banned by PSV and Ajax in the Netherlands, as well as AIK in Sweden, for his shady practices.
Lemic was also accused of some dodgy deals with Roman Abramovich when the Russian was in charge at Chelsea, taking millions from the owner to force through moves for his players at a lower price to keep Chelsea's books looking good. This was never proved, but it appears to be an open secret in the game.
A report in [The Mirror reveals that Lemic isn't even licensed:](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/alexander-isak-agent-liverpool-transfer-35716584)
> "The kicker is that Lemic isn't officially a licensed player agent, but rather considers himself an adviser. He works closely with his brother Zoran, who is licensed by FIFA, and several other partners like Sven Mislintat, through whom official communication is usually made with clubs."

While Gonzalo Gaitan has been the man who has been dealing with the Isak situation, it sounds like Lemic has been behind the scenes pulling the strings.
With crooks like Vlado Lemic in your ear, it's perhaps no wonder Isak has gone down this route.
Like we keep saying, the sad thing is that if he doesn't get the move to Liverpool this summer, there doesn't seem to be any way back for him at Newcastle now. Even a grovelling public apology to the club and the fans may not be enough. And with it being a World Cup year, the last thing Isak will want is to be left to rot in the reserves for a season.
