Crystal Palace could look to complete a smart move for Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior in the remaining three weeks of the summer transfer window, according to reports - with the FA Cup-winning Eagles eyeing up a move if one of their top stars ends up imminently leaving the club.
The report by Football Transfers states that, with various Premier League clubs registering their interest and making approaches for Palace skipper Marc Guehi, the Eagles have turned their attention to Kiwior as a potential replacement for his services.

Guehi only has one year left on his current deal at Selhurst Park, and that has tempted top-flight clubs to make a move for him - namely Liverpool and Manchester United, with the report stating that the latter have made an 'initial exploratory approach' for the England star.
With that in mind, Oliver Glasner's side have turned to the Polish defender to come into their ranks. It's thought that Kiwior has been earmarked as the replacement for their skipper, although any move may be a double-edged sword.
The Eagles' star midfielder, Eberechi Eze, has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium throughout the summer and he could move to north London in the coming weeks, with the report further adding that Kiwior could act as a makeweight for his arrival.
Kiwior, 25, joined Arsenal from Serie A side Spezia in January 2023, making seven top-flight appearances in his first half-season for the Gunners, before becoming a bit-part player under Mikel Arteta in recent years. His two most recent campaigns have seen him make thirty appearances each, with a goal to boot in each season, with 37 of those 60 outings being in the Premier League.
However, with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba to burst past in the pecking order, it looks as though it will be another rotation season for the former Spezia star. A move to Palace could change his fortunes in terms of minutes, and Glasner's side could look to get a deal done to remedy that.
Should Kiwior come to the club and Guehi leave, he would compete for minutes alongside former Wolfsburg star Maxence Lacroix, American star Chris Richards and forgotten Moroccan signing Chadi Riad over the course of the season. However, with Glasner preferring to play a three-back in defence, there may even be another arrival in the heart of the backline, with Palace set to play Europa Conference League football over the coming months.
