Leeds look set to sign former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as they bolster their attack.
Daniel Farke’s side have needed a striker after Mateo Joseph departed on loan earlier in the transfer window.
The Peacocks have made just one addition up front, with the addition of Lukas Nmecha on a free transfer.
With Patrick Bamford being made to train with the Under-21s, Leeds have needed competition in attack, and they now appear to have found their man in Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin to make first start vs Arsenal
Calvert-Lewin announced he was departing Everton in the summer after nine years on Merseyside.

The striker has been linked with both Leeds and Sunderland since his exit, but has now chosen to move to West Yorkshire.
As reported by David Ornstein via X on 13 August, the Peacocks have reached an agreement in principle with Calvert-Lewin, and the striker is set to undergo a medical at Thorp Arch.
The latest developments will leave many supporters wondering when the former England international could make his debut for the Whites.
Calvert-Lewin’s injury record might worry supporters after he missed much of last season for Everton.

His extensive time on the sidelines could influence Farke’s decision on when to give him his first start.
Leeds will begin their return to the Premier League on 18 August against Calvert-Lewin’s former side, Everton, but unfortunately, it is unlikely he will make his first start for the Peacocks against the Toffees.
Given that the 28-year-old has predominantly trained on his own over the summer and hasn’t had a full preseason, Farke is unlikely to risk him.
He could feature from the bench at Elland Road, but his first start is more likely to come in Leeds’ second game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 23 August.
Against the Gunners, Leeds will need someone strong up front who can retain possession in a game where they are unlikely to have much of the ball, and Calvert-Lewin is the perfect man for the job.

Joel Piroe to be axed in favour of Calvert-Lewin
Leeds’ exodus of strikers could continue after Calvert-Lewin signs.
Joel Piroe has struggled to nail down a regular starting place in Farke’s squad since arriving from Swansea, and he will find his gametime limited next season.
Therefore, both Leeds and Piroe could decide to part ways this summer in a move that would benefit both parties.
