The club ended their preparations with a draw against AC Milan. The common theme in Leeds games has been the solidity in midfield and at the back.

What continues to lack is that cutting edge in attack according to Farke.
“We know in the offence we are not ready for Premier League level. We’ve proven we can be ready for one game and for that I am not too concerned at the moment as it stands.

Per reports on Wednesday, it looks like Leeds have received a huge breakthrough. The club have been pursuing Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss for the past few weeks.
Newcastle United recently joined the race, and were keen on triggering his release clause. But according to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail, the Magpies have pulled out of the race for El Khannouss.

Leeds have their new striker
Wednesday morning came with huge news, as it was confirmed that Leeds had agreed a deal in principle to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The 28-year old is a free agent after leaving Everton this summer.
The striker is now set to undergo a medical before finalizing his move to Elland Road.
Club could complete double swoop
With the deal for Calvert-Lewin hours away from being confirmed, Leeds can now fully set their sights on a deal to sign El Khannouss.
The club already have an upper hand; they held talks before other Premier League sides even expressed interest.
