The money-spinning pre-season tours are done and dusted, the fate of the Community Shield has been decided, and marquee moves are still taking place across the globe.
All of that can only mean one thing; the new Premier League campaign is imminent. In a matter of days, the first whistle will blow on the 2025-26 season, one in which Liverpool endeavour to win back-to-back titles for the first time since the days of the old First Division.
At least three teams will have a thing or two to say about that, though, while there are also fascinating battles for European football and indeed survival brewing.
Here, Sports Mole takes you through everything you need to know about the 2025-26 Premier League season.
When does the 2025-26 Premier League season start?
The 2025-26 Premier League campaign commences at 8pm on Friday, August 15, when champions Liverpool welcome Bournemouth for the opening tie of the season.
Gameweek one will then continue across the weekend into Monday, where newly-promoted Leeds United welcome Everton in the final game of the first round.
When does the 2025-26 Premier League season finish?
The top-flight campaign is scheduled to run for just over nine months, beginning on August 15 and ending on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
As is tradition, it is expected that all 20 teams will play at the same time on the final day of the season, where all games are likely to kick off at 4pm.
How to watch the Premier League on TV in the UK
Sky Sports and TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) have exclusive rights to Premier League football in the UK for the 2025-26 season, and the two broadcasters will share up to 270 games.
Sky have agreed a record-breaking deal to show at least 215 live matches, and fans can expect Friday, Saturday evening, Sunday and Monday fixtures to be broadcast there.
Meanwhile, TNT Sports will have 52 matches available to view, including most if not all 12.30pm Saturday kickoffs.
Amazon Prime previously showed a handful of Premier League games, but their deal came to an end midway through the 2024-25 season.
Are there any new Premier League rules this season?
The Premier League saw its first use of semi-automated offsides in the 2024-25 season, and the 2025-26 campaign will be first to see the technology implemented for the entire term.
Referees could also be permitted to wear bodycams, as non-FIFA competitions have now been given the green light to trial such measures during the season, although two-thirds of clubs need to agree for the plans to go ahead.
Who are the favourites to win the 2025-26 Premier League?
Since reclaiming their crown in the 2024-25 season, Liverpool have been splashing the cash at an unprecedented rate and are many people's picks to retain their grip on the red-clad trophy yet again.
However, Manchester City have reinforced their attacking ranks following the departure of Kevin De Bruyne, while Rodri's return to full fitness later in the season could also make as big an impact as his absence did last term.
A Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi-reinforced Arsenal are not to be messed with either, while Liam Delap and Joao Pedro give Chelsea two new dimensions up front.
Liverpool are the current bookies' favourites to win the division at odds of 19/10, but a fascinating four-way fight for title glory could very well materialise.

Liverpool's Hugo Ekitike in action on July 30, 2025
Still making good use of their Philippe Coutinho money, Liverpool have agreed to potentially make Florian Wirtz the most expensive Premier League player of all time, shelling out an initial £100m on the former Bayer Leverkusen playmaker.
The Germany international will be feeding fellow Bundesliga graduate Hugo Ekitike at Anfield, while Old Trafford is the place to be on the opening weekend for a scintillating head-to-head.
Arsenal's Gyokeres and Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko will be battling for striker supremacy all season long, and the latter will be aided by Ruben Amorim's other new recruits, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Over in the sky blue half of Manchester, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki have De Bruyne-sized boots to fill, while Mohammed Kudus will be tasked with injecting some life into the Tottenham Hotspur attack.
Tackle master Joao Palhinha has also made his return with the Lilywhites, and elsewhere, Sunderland's survival chances received a huge boost when they pulled off the major coup of Granit Xhaka.
