Jordan Pickford sent a heartfelt message to his wife Megan as she shared details of their trip away from Merseyside. Pickford is Everton’s first choice goalkeeper and featured in the Blues’ friendly match against Roma last week.

The final test event for the ground, located at Bramley-Moore Dock on the banks of the River Mersey, saw the Toffees take on the Italian side in what was their first game at their new home in front of a full capacity crowd. Pickford is very likely to start again when Everton travel to Leeds United in their first Premier League game of the season on Monday, August 18. He remains first pick for the England national team too.

Away from the pitch, Megan is a graduate of the University of Sunderland and regularly shares updates to her 140,000 followers on Instagram. The couple have three children together.

Yesterday, Megan revealed that the couple had spent a weekend at Trump Turnberry Golf Resort in Ayrshire, Scotland. The resort is run by The Trump Organisation, owned by US president Donald Trump.

Mr Trump was met with protests as he visited the golf course last month before holding talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Scottish First Minister John Swinney.

Megan shared a picture of herself and her husband with shotguns as they took part in clay shooting. The sessions are open for novice and experienced shooters and are led by qualified instructors from Aberdeen Shooting School.

Megan posted the picture on her Instagram page and added the caption: “Couple’s weekend.” The post received over 2,700 likes including from Pickford himself.

In the comments section, the goalkeeper said: “Number one.” He added a blue heart emoji.

Other fans left supportive messages to the couple. One said: “Lovely photo of you both.” Another said: “Best couple.” A third added: “The most beautiful.”

Like many footballers, Pickford can often be found on the golf course in his spare time. He played on the Royal Liverpool course last year in The Open Invitational alongside the likes of boxer Tony Bellew.

It’s been a busy year for the couple. In April, they announced the birth of their third child, Misty. Their son Arlo was born in 2019 and their daughter Ostra was born in 2023.

Megan is often seen attending Everton and England matches to support her husband. The family reside in a Cheshire mansion thought to be worth over £2m.

Megan has previously shared snippets of their home in updates on her Instagram account. Their property boasts beautiful interiors, a large, modern kitchen, a cosy lounge and a beautifully manicured garden.
