Everton could potentially be worried about Dwight McNeil in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The 25-year-old returned from a knee injury towards the end of last season and put in some impressive performances for the Toffees.
Jack Grealish has signed on loan from Manchester City, but the Blues will certainly be looking to make further additions before the end of August.
David Moyes seemingly urged The Friedkin Group (TFG) to make several signings during the Premier League Summer Series due to the lack of first-team squad members, but this could prompt some senior players to reconsider their futures.

Everton can accept Tyler Dibling offer from Southampton
Southampton have made a counteroffer for Dibling to the Toffees, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports journalist revealed on X on 13 August that the Saints’ demand for the 19-year-old is likely slightly lower than their £47.5million to £56m valuation of the 19-year-old.
It’s been claimed that the Blues can accept the Hampshire outfit’s offer “at any time”, triggering the deal to bring the English forward to Bramley-Moore Dock.
McNeil was signed for £20m from Burnley in 2022.
The 25-year-old can play across the front line for Moyes.
Last season, the English forward provided eight Premier League assists.
Dibling’s arrival would arguably leave McNeil sweating over his place in the starting lineup, with the former Burnley star featuring on the right wing for Moyes during pre-season.
The 25-year-old will be hoping to kick on from the get-go next after missing a significant chunk of the previous campaign due to fitness issues.
If McNeil feels he isn’t guaranteed regular game time at the Merseyside outfit, he could potentially demand an exit from L5.

Dibling v McNeil: Who should Moyes trust at Everton?
Dibling became a pivotal player for Southampton last season, but the youngster looks to be on his way out after being left out of their squad in the 2-1 win against Wrexham in the Championship on 9 August.
While the 19-year-old has shown a lot of potential at St Mary’s Stadium, he’s still got a lot to learn before being considered Premier League-ready for Everton.
The English youngster’s decision-making in the final third needs to be worked on, and it’s something Moyes can help with.
But for now, McNeil should continue to be the Merseyside outfit’s preferred option on the right wing, with Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye and Thierno Barry making up the attack.
