The season gets underway on Friday, August 15, as we host Fulham at Meadow Park at 7pm, with every kick available to watch with Max Jones behind the mic providing live commentary.
We will play 20 regular season matches across the campaign, with the campaign concluding on April 13, 2026, against Crystal Palace, when we will have hoped to have qualified for the end of season play-offs.
With all league matches now available on our channels, our supporters from across the world have the perfect opportunity to see our stars of tomorrow in action on a regular basis.
Premier League 2 is an under-21s competition, featuring 29 Category One Academies from across the country.
Last season featured 26 teams, with Burnley U21s, Birmingham City U21s, and Ipswich Town U21s all joining for 2025/26.
The teams that finish in the top 16 places will progress to the play-offs, where knockout games will be played to determine this season’s PL2 champions
In 2024/25, we finished in eighth place, qualifying for the elimination play-offs, where we were knocked out by eventual winners Manchester City in the quarter-finals.
