This NBA offseason has been wild and busy, and it’s not even completely over yet.
Which teams made the best choices, and who is in the greatest position before 2025-26 begins?
Writing on X, Jake Weinbach praised the Orlando Magic, stating that they had “one of the most outstanding offseasons across the league.”
“Orlando is capable of earning the top seed in the East and Paolo Banchero has a legitimate chance to be in the MVP conversation this year. I wouldn’t underestimate this on-the-rise Magic team,” Weinbach said.

Weinbach isn’t alone, because a lot of analysts and experts believe that the new season will be an explosive one for the Magic.
They already have Paolo Banchero, one of the most promising young stars in the league.
Their roster is populated by others, such as Franz Wagner and Heln Suggs, who feel on the verge of unquestionable greatness.
At the start of the offseason, the Magic took a big swing by signing Desmond Bane.
Bane is coming from the Memphis Grizzlies and could greatly assist the team with their offense, which was the biggest problem for Orlando last season.
The team also added Tyus Jones to the backcourt.
Last season, Jones averaged 10.2 points and 5.3 assists on 44.8 percent from the floor and 41.1 percent from the three-point line.
With a stronger offense and developing players, the Magic are giving fans a lot to be hopeful about.
Plus, the Eastern Conference could be wide open in the new season, with both Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton sitting out because of injuries.
If there was a time for the Magic to strike and climb the standings, it would be now.
