Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks set to join Leeds United on a free transfer, with the striker ready to undergo a medical imminently.
According to David Ornstein on 13 August, the Whites have agreed a deal in principle to sign the Englishman, who left Everton at the end of last season.
Leeds have been looking to sign another striker in recent weeks, but their top target, Rodrigo Muniz, has indicated his preference for a move to Serie A side Atalanta.
Calvert-Lewin is set to become the eighth player to bolster Daniel Farke’s options this summer, following the acquisition of goalkeeper Lucas Perri, who arrived for around £15million last month.

What shirt number will Dominic Calvert-Lewin take at Leeds?
Calvert-Lewin’s arrival at Elland Road will prompt alternating reactions from different sides of the Leeds fanbase.

The striker is established in the Premier League, appearing in over 200 games and scoring 57 goals, with his best season returning a 16-goal tally.
But the question on the mind of every Leeds fan will be about the England international’s injury record.
Calvert-Lewin has struggled significantly with various injury problems over the last five years, with his hamstrings and ankles proving to be the worst-affected areas.
Just last season, the 28-year-old missed almost three months of action after injuring his hamstring, leading to Everton’s decision to part ways at the end of the season.
But Leeds will hope a more rotational role will see Calvert-Lewin avoid a similar fate at Elland Road, with Joel Piroe still expected to be Farke’s first choice.

With Patrick Bamford set to leave Elland Road this summer, the heralded number nine shirt is available for the new man, who wore the same number for six years at Everton.
Alternatively, Calvert-Lewin could select the number 29, which he wore upon his arrival at Goodison Park.
Calvert-Lewin will be a strong option off the bench for Leeds
Much of Calvert-Lewin’s strongest assets are best utilised when chasing a game.
The striker is brilliant in the air and very capable of holding the ball up to bring others into play.
Farke will hope a role that sees the 28-year-old largely deployed off the bench when Leeds need a goal will see Calvert-Lewin become a bargain impact signing, with his injuries hopefully left in the past.
Fingers crossed that this pays off.
