Man United make exciting announcement ahead of start of new season

Manchester United have announced a new multi-year partnership with beverage company Coca-Cola (via the club’s official website).

The global beverage giant will now be the club’s Official Carbonated Soft Drinks Partner in the United Kingdom and Europe for the next three years.

The partnership will see Coca-Cola play a role during matchdays, offering refreshment to fans at Old Trafford.

The agreement includes beverage exclusivity for ‘Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fanta Zero, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper Zero’.

Fans will have a chance to enjoy Coca-Cola in Man United’s new Pop-Up Pub, opening at Old Trafford on Sunday when Ruben Amorim’s side begin their Premier League campaign against Arsenal.

The Pop-Up Pub has been set up to give fans a space to gather and enjoy local food and drink during matchdays.

United seem to have made the announcement of its unveiling yesterday in anticipation of the disclosure of their partnership with Coca-Cola.

Besides making matchdays more memorable, United and Coca-Cola plan to collaborate to engage fans in the UK and Europe with ‘digital content and community-driven initiatives’.

Reacting to the partnership, Man United’s chief business officer Marc Armstrong said: “Coca-Cola and Manchester United are two of the world’s most iconic brands, each with a proud history of bringing people together.

“We are forming a partnership that will go beyond matchday refreshments at Old Trafford – creating engaging and memorable experiences that connect our fans to the club in fresh and impactful ways.”

This deal shows Man United’s intent to partner with household-name brands such as Coca-Cola to deliver memorable matchday experiences over the coming seasons while increasing the club’s marketing power.

Alongside the sponsorship news, United have also revealed their third kit for the 2025/26 season, designed by Adidas. It will reportedly be donned for the first time against Brentford on September 27.
