Everton and the Premier League have not have the best relationship over recent years.
PSR concerns saw Everton become the first club in the history of the English top-flight to have received two separate points deductions in a single season.
While this did not lead to relegation, it soured the relationship between the fans and the Premier League.
This resulted in Everton fans protesting against the Premier League throughout the 2023/24 campaign, and things have not got better since.
Now, Manchester City could also face a points deduction due to their charges, with the Toffees fanbase keenly awaiting the outcome.

Going into the 2025/26 campaign, the 115 charges still loom over Man City.

The Premier League charged Man City in 2023 but a verdict is yet to be reached
This will no doubt cause fury among the Hill Dickinson Stadium faithful.
This case has been going on for far too long, with it being unclear when the verdict will be published.
In comparison, Everton’s case felt rushed, with the Merseyside club receiving multiple different verdicts within a season, which no doubt affected their performances on the pitch.
With claims that Man City may not even face a points deduction, this case has only made Everton fans feel like it is them against the Premier League.
Everton could benefit from Man City being found guilty
If Man City are found guilty, there are multiple possible benefits for Everton.
Mainly, a heavy points deduction would likely see the Toffees move up a position in the table.
This could see Everton avoid a potential relegation, or even claim a European spot if they have a good campaign.
On top of this, the Toffees could also look to pursue legal action due to the Merseyside club missing out on the Champions League in 2014 to Man City.
