Ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign, it will be interesting to see which club out of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal will win the Premier League.
With Pep Guardiola seeming upbeat about the new season, he could be relishing the challenge of outclassing Arne Slot and Mikel Arteta.
However, with Liverpool targeting Alexander Isak on top of all their statement signings and Arsenal bringing Viktor Gyokeres in as one of their many additions, both teams could be stronger next season.
In Manchester City’s case, their domestic rivals should be concerned as they seem to be on the lookout for more fresh faces.

Steven Gerrard claims Man City will finish third in the Premier League next season
Steven Gerrard praised Pep Guardiola and Rodri by claiming that the pair could help City be the closest challengers to Liverpool.
“I think you have to be wary of City and Guardiola. Best manager in the world, they’ve done it four years on the spin, they lost Rodri, which was a big blow for them. I think with a fully-fit squad, I think the team that finishes above City will win it again.”

Gerrard backed Liverpool to win the league and Chelsea to secure fourth position.
Man City do not consider missing out on Premier League title as a ‘failure’ next season
With the Sky Blues having serial winners galore within their squad, they would be desperate to dethrone Arne Slot’s side as league champions.
However, journalist Guillem Balague revealed that Manchester City do not consider missing out on the league title a “failure.”
Instead, the priority at the Etihad Stadium is to challenge until March next year and not be out of contention by January like last season.
As a result, perhaps Steven Gerrard’s prediction may not rub Manchester City in the wrong way whatsoever.
