Amazon’s Prime Video’s NBA schedule revealed

The first year of the NBA on Prime Video is coming into focus.

On Wednesday, the NBA and Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service revealed highlights for its upcoming schedule, including a high-octane doubleheader for its NBA debut, along with numerous NBA Cup doubleheaders throughout October and November.

Prime Video’s NBA coverage will tip off with a doubleheader on October 24 featuring the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET. As far as debut broadcasts go, this is about as attractive a pair of games as you could ask for.

Amazon will feature Friday night doubleheaders on Prime Video throughout the regular season.

Prime Video also revealed its first five weeks of NBA Cup doubleheaders, which will begin on Halloween and go through Black Friday. Notably, the Black Friday doubleheader will receive a lead-in from the NFL. Prime Video is slated to broadcast a Chicago Bears-Philadelphia Eagles game at 3 p.m. ET that day, which should lead directly into the streamer’s NBA studio coverage before the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks game.
