Man United head coach Ruben Amorim will be keen to get the season off to a good start against Arsenal this weekend.
It’s fair to say that the first 9 months of the Portuguese’s tenure have been difficult, but he has now had a full pre-season to work with his new-look squad.
Of course, further additions are expected to be made between now and September 1st, but fans will head into Sunday’s clash at Old Trafford with a great deal of optimism.
Their opponents will also be hoping to begin the season strongly, with the Gunners having recruited six new additions themselves.

GK – Andre Onana – the 29-year-old says he is hopeful of being fit to face Arsenal this weekend, having missed pre-season with a hamstring problem.
CB – Leny Yoro – having missed the start of his first season due to the injury, the Frenchman will be looking to start his second campaign on a more positive note.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – based on what we have seen in pre-season so far, it appears that the Dutchman may have the edge over Harry Maguire for the central spot in the back three.
CB – Ayden Heaven – the January arrival from Arsenal has surprised many, including Amorim, with how quickly he took to playing at senior level. He could well win his battle with Luke Shaw for a starting place.
