All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as they prepare for their Premier League opener.

Arsenal are now just days away from the start of the new Premier League season, with Manchester United awaiting the Gunners on Sunday. Mikel Arteta’s men won their last pre-season friendly, and they will be hoping to take that momentum in the new season, with their new star signings making it through pre-season fit and ready for the new campaign.

It will be an interesting test for Arsenal to kick off the new campaign, with United having also invested significantly this summer. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium as the summer window rumbles on.

Zinchenko offer

Arsenal have reportedly received a formal offer for one of the players they are likely willing to sell the summer. According to Sabah, Fenerbahce have lodged a formal offer for Oleksandr Zinchenko, although it’s not clear how much they are offering.

Zinchenko recently wrote in a new chapter for his updated autobiography, ‘Believe’: “A player who doesn’t play is nothing. It’s one thing when your body lets you down. That can happen. But going from one of the established players of the side to unused sub is much harder to deal with. The sense of rejection you feel if your manager no longer believes in you can take the stuffing out of you, even if you’re the most resilient guy on the planet. He (Lewis-Skelly) came in and made the left-back position his. He’s a special talent. Such a good player. What he’s done is unbelievable, really.” Arsenal are likely to be receptive to offers for the out-of-favour full-back this summer.

Nelson wants loan move

Reiss Nelson is another player who faces an uncertain future this summer, with the winger having spent time on loan at Fulham last season before an injury cost him the back-end of the season. The Cottagers have been linked with another move for Nelson this summer, but it’s reported that would prefer another loan move.

That may not suit Arsenal, but according to The Independent, Nelson has asked Arsenal not to sell him, instead wanting to go out on another loan move in a final bid to prove himself. Nelson is now 25, so Arsenal may push for a sale as they look to raise money to balance their spending.

Walcott’s message for Eze

Theo Walcott has warned Crystal Palace star against a move to Arsenal amid interest from the Gunners this summer. He told It's Called Soccer: "If he has a good season at Palace, he will go to the World Cup, I’m pretty sure of that… then what other teams will have a look at him after that? If I was Eze, I would probably stay put just because it’s World Cup year. If it wasn’t World Cup year then I would probably move on. These opportunities might not come again, though, so that’s the risk these players have got to take.

“But for me, World Cup year is a big year and I just feel that the grass isn’t always greener. I love the way Eze plays at Palace at this moment in time and it would look very different at Arsenal. He would improve Arsenal, 100 per cent, but I just feel that World Cup year is a big factor for a lot of players this year."
