Manchester United will soon kick off their new Premier League season against their old foes, Arsenal.
Fresh from another season finishing in second place, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side will be determined to go one better this season, and they are starting their campaign off the back of an ambitious transfer window.
Most notably, Arsenal have signed Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, and Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad – two significant changes to their starting eleven.
Robbie Fowler shared his Viktor Gyokeres doubts recently, but Arsenal fans will have seen enough in pre-season to suggest that the Swede can be a success.
Of course, Man United have also made some seriously impressive signings themselves, and fans at Old Trafford will be eagerly anticipating the sight of all of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha playing together.
Gary Neville and Roy Keane predict the score for Man United vs Arsenal
That being said, former United players Gary Neville and Roy Keane have now shared their score predictions for Sunday’s big clash.
Speaking on the ‘Stick to Football’ podcast, the pair actually disagreed on the outcome of the game.

Neville and Keane both opted for the same scoreline, but they chose opposing winners.
Giving his own prediction recently, Rio Ferdinand thought United and Arsenal would draw, but his former teammates at Old Trafford didn’t quite reach the same conclusion on this occasion.
Straight away, Neville said: “United are winning that.”
Keane then replied: “I’d go Arsenal, 2-1.”
Neville: “I’m going United, 2-1.”
Keane: “Defensively Arsenal are going to give up two goals?”
Neville: “I just think it’s a really bad game for Arsenal to get first up. I think it’s a challenging game for Arsenal first up.”
Viktor Gyokeres will face Benjamin Sesko at Old Trafford
Aside from United vs Arsenal being a big game on its own merits, there’s also the added narrative of Gyokeres coming up against Sesko in the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.
Arsenal wanted to sign either Gyokeres or Sesko this summer, and the same could arguably be said for United.
Games Goals Assists
Viktor Gyokeres 52 54 13
Benjamin Sesko 45 21 6
Gyokeres for Sporting CP and Sesko for RB Leipzig in all competitions last season.
Arsenal walked away from signing Sesko owing to RB Leipzig’s lofty demands – ones that Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s side were ultimately happy to match.
And it will be interesting to see which striker fares better in their first season playing in the English top flight.
Gyokeres has the advantage of being at a later stage in his career, but he will also have to compete for minutes with Kai Havertz.
Whereas over in Manchester, Rasmus Hojlund is set to leave after Sesko’s arrival, meaning the Slovenian should have a clear run at the starting spot.
