Dolphins Edge Rusher Uses Instagram To Calm Injury Panic

The Miami Dolphins have endured many injuries to their defense during training camp and have a pair of edge rushers returning from injury this season, but they almost had startling news as Travis Wingfield reported that Chop Robinson was carted off the field on Wednesday.

Robinson, however, offered some uplifting news for the Dolphins faithful.

Shortly after the news broke, he took to Instagram in response to Adam Schefter, saying, "I'm good, nothing serious."

Robinson began to emerge for the Dolphins late in his rookie season, collecting six sacks and eight tackles for loss. He is setting up to be one of the key pieces in the Dolphins' pass rush this season, and the Dolphins would dodge a major bullet if he comes away unscathed.

With Bradley Chubb and Jaelen Phillips returning from injury, the Dolphins' edge rush is growing stronger as the season approaches. Along with the continued production from Zach Sieler and the arrival of Willie Gay Jr., the Dolphins' front seven could be some of the most dominant in the league.

Robinson's personal update is a good sign, as the Dolphins edge rusher has some lofty expectations from fans that want to see him succeed. With all the injuries that the Dolphins have endured this season already, it could be up to Robinson and the rest of the group up front to control the pace and control the game.

With preseason week two games nearing, the Dolphins are running out of time to get guys healthy. Losing Robinson could have been a major blow to an already depleted defensive unit.
