Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce Charlie Wellings has signed a new contract with the Club.
The winger has agreed a new one-year deal with Club ahead of The Reds’ inaugural season in the Barclays WSL2.
Wellings joined Forest last summer from Reading and enjoyed an impressive maiden campaign on Trentside, scoring 27 goals during Forest’s invincible title-winning season in the FAWNL Northern Premier Division.
Following Wellings’ outstanding debut season, the forward was named both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season in 2024/25.
Nottingham Forest Women head coach, Carly Davies, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Charlie has signed a new contract with the Club.
“Since joining us in last July, Charlie has consistently demonstrated her quality, professionalism, and commitment to our collective ambition.
“Her goals and performances have been instrumental in our success last season. I’m looking forward to seeing her continue that and showcase her ability in the WSL2 this season.”
