MUFC EXIT? - 2 New Clubs Keen To Sign £25m Man United Star Including Former Red Devils Manager

Two new clubs have entered the race to sign Man United winger Jadon Sancho, who is set to leave Old Trafford this summer after falling out of favour with Ruben Amorim.

Sancho spent last season on loan at Premier League rivals Chelsea, and was expected to join the Blues on a permanent basis due to the obligation to buy in his contract. However, Chelsea opted against spending the £25m on him, and they instead paid £5m in compensation to United.

After Sancho moved back to United, he was told to find a new club, and has been linked to several clubs in Europe, including a return to Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. The latter were in talks to sign him, but they are prioritising sales before they sign the English winger.

So, now, Sancho will have to look elsewhere, and it has now emerged that two more clubs are in the race to sign him. According to the Daily Mail, Serie A side Roma, and Turkish side Besiktas are interested in signing the 25-year-old.

Roma reportedly have been in discussions with Man United over a move for Sancho, as it is claimed that manager Gian Piero Gasperini is very keen on the winger. However, there is no indication yet as to whether they will make a bid.

The other side is Besiktas, managed by former Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who spent one year coaching Sancho during his time at Old Trafford. Sancho made 14 Premier League appearances under Solskjaer.

Who else could Man United sell?

In terms of other sales, Alejandro Garnacho looks closest to a move away, as the Argentinian winger is reportedly close to joining Chelsea.

Reports have said that the winger wants the move to Stamford Bridge, and that personal terms have been agreed. All that is needed now is for a deal to be agreed between Man United and Chelsea over a transfer fee.

It has been said that around £40m to £50m could be enough for Man United to sell Garnacho. But it could be a crucial decision, and a big cash boost for the Red Devils, something that they badly need.

Rasmus Hojlund could also be on his way out, with AC Milan currently in talks to sign the Man United striker, adding even more of a cash boost to United’s funds.
