After Jack Grealish was officially confirmed as an Everton player, there has been plenty of debate.
The 29-year-old embarks on a loan move to Merseyside in a bid to rejuvenate his career after a failed £100 million move to Man City.
There is a mixed opinion on whether a £15 million loan for Grealish is the right move, as David Moyes could be taking a risk.
It can’t be denied that the winger instantly improves the Everton squad, but Simon Jordan doesn’t think Grealish suits Moyes’ playstyle.
On the other hand, Paul Merson thinks it’s a ‘phenomenal’ signing, and now Roy Keane has given an honest verdict on the deal.

Roy Keane believes Jack Grealish will be the main man at Everton
With the Premier League opener against Leeds United now just four days away, Moyes needs to start thinking about who will start.
The on-loan winger will surely be in line for his debut, and Keane believes he could be integral to the Scotsman’s regime.
Speaking to the Stick to Football podcast, the Man United legend was asked about whether Grealish’s switch was the right decision.

“I think it is (a good move), David Moyes is an experienced manager. He’d be the main man there.”
Wayne Rooney thinks it’s a ‘great opportunity’ for Grealish, who has the chance to really prove his worth in The Friedkin Group’s project.
With him becoming the star name and ultimately the face of this new project for the season, what Keane has said previously speaks volumes about how this transfer could really turn a new leaf for the England international.
Roy Keane said new Everton signing Jack Grealish wouldn’t be the star at Man City
It’s a new start for the 29-year-old who will know he can replicate his Aston Villa days and play with freedom.
His quality is there for all to see, and it’s likely there won’t be as much pressure for the new Toffees star to perform.
Hitting the ground running against Leeds will be the perfect way to do so, and with him looking to be the main man, as Keane says, the pundit said the complete opposite after his Man City move in 2021.
Speaking on ITV ahead of England’s World Cup qualifier against Hungary, the Irishman said: “There’s a lot more to come from Jack, he was the main fella at Aston Villa, he won’t be the main fella with England and he’s not at Manchester City..”
This obviously turned out to be right, as the winger struggled in his last few seasons and ultimately became a squad option.

Now he’s got a leading role with the Blues, it shows that there is belief from football critics for the winger to succeed, as his Villa tenure could be repeated.
There is hope that Grealish will emulate Everton legend Duncan McKenzie, as he can put the past behind him and shine under Moyes.
