Just in: Beren Cross says Leeds now eyeing move to sign 'electric' forward after Calvert-Lewin

Leeds United could be set to bring in AC Milan forward Noah Okafor in the coming weeks of the summer transfer window, according to reports - with the Swiss star being in Daniel Farke's sights ahead of a potential move to Elland Road before the deadline slams shut in September.

Leeds won the Championship last season, marking a 100-point campaign under the German boss, and with owners 49ers Enterprises having vowed to plough money into their survival campaign, Okafor has become the latest man to be linked after the arrivals of Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff to name but a few.

Report: Leeds 'Interested' in Noak Okafor, No Talks as of Yet

Okafor

The report by The Athletic journalist Beren Cross states that Leeds have shown an interest in Milan star Okafor, as they aim to bolster their attacking ranks - and after taking in his performance against them in Saturday's pre-season fixture against Milan in Dublin, the Whites could make a move.

There has not been an official approach or club-to-club talks for the 'electric' forward at this stage, but the 25-year-old Swiss star is a player that Leeds are looking to bring in during the final few weeks of the transfer window alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has agreed terms with the Whites after becoming a free agent.

Having spent the second half of last season on loan at Napoli, Okafor only made four appearances at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona, though he did win the Serie A title.

The report further goes on to state that Leeds are also interested in Leicester City star James Justin, with Farke keen on bringing a versatile full-back to the club to manage his squad depth alongside homegrown star Sam Byram.
