Report – Inter Milan Could Reignite Interest In Chelsea Defender

Inter Milan could reportedly reignite their interest in Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah before the end of the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan have still yet to sign a defender this summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri had been widely expected to bring in a player to freshen up their aging backline this summer.

Reportedly, veterans Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi will both stay at Inter for one more season. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard is the subject of interest from Galatasaray.

One defender who has been on Inter Milan’s radar for a long time is Trevoh Chalobah.

The Chelsea defender has reportedly been a target for the Nerazzurri for several years.

And the Corriere dello Sport report that Inter have never really stopped tracking the Englishman.

Chalobah could very well leave Stamford Bridge this summer. He may be surplus to requirements considering the size of the Blues’ squad.

And the Corriere dello Sport report that Inter are considering making a move to sign Chalobah before the transfer window closes.
