Roma striker Artem Dovbyk has been heavily linked with a move to Leeds in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Whites are among the clubs that have enquired about the striker, but have yet to make a concrete offer to sign the Ukrainian forward.
Everton have also been linked with a move for him, and David Moyes is indeed interested in signing a striker before the end of the window on September 1st.
However, according to Il Messaggero, the Toffees have denied interest in the Roma star and will not make a move for him in the ongoing transfer window.
The Merseyside club are considering other strikers and are not expected to make any offers for the Roma attacker in the coming days.
Leeds are still getting linked with him, and Roma are prepared to sell if they receive a fee of around £26m this summer.
However, the Serie A giants are yet to receive any offers, and the club are growing desperate to sell him.
Roma would be open to letting him go for as little as £23m to avoid losing any money for the attacker.
Leeds still need another striker
Calvert-Lewin will soon become a Leeds player, but fans and pundits remain divided over the imminent signing.
His injury record is not inspiring confidence in many, and some in the media have already panned Leeds’ decision to sign the striker this summer.
