Tua Tagovailoa Gets Honest About Dolphins’ Joint Practice Struggles

The Miami Dolphins have endured lots of frustrations over the past few seasons.

At times, they’ve looked like the best offense in football, especially when everyone is healthy.

Tua Tagovailoa has strong connections with his best skill-positions, notably, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane.

When things are clicking, they’re really strong, but that isn’t always the case.

Tagovailoa and the offense had a notably tough time during their joint practice with the Detroit Lions, where he made a lot of mistakes and things didn’t seem to go their way.

He talked about this in a recent press conference, indicating that this is something he and his teammates need to push through.

“I don’t think you put this behind you, I think you got to face it head on… you got to face it, you got to look at it for what it is, you got to learn from it,” Tagovailoa said.

Instead of ignoring it and brushing off their frustrations, Tagovailoa believes the best way to move forward is to acknowledge the problem, get better as a unit, and not let this come between them.

Hill, Waddle, Achane, and their other pass-catchers have what it takes to reclaim their spot as one of the most potent offenses in the league, but they have to stay sharp and on the field if they want to make an impact on the AFC.

Their schedule is difficult this year, especially seeing how they have to play their in-division rivals, the Buffalo Bills, twice per season.

If they can figure out a way to push through and beat teams like the Bills, this could be a scary team to face in the playoffs when everything is going according to plan.
