The Seattle Seahawks have gone through a lot of changes over the past several months.
The roster has been shaken up, making a notable quarterback change from Geno Smith to Sam Darnold, and losing WR1, DK Metcalf.
Fans were slightly surprised to see how many changes they’ve made, especially since the team won 10 games last season and nearly made the playoffs.
There have been mixed reviews regarding the decisions Seattle is making, but analyst Colin Cowherd is all for it.
He is so confident in this team heading into 2025 that he recently made a bold prediction on his show.
“This is my shocker. I think Seattle’s going to win the division. So the Eagles, Packers, Bucs, and Seahawks are the division winners,” Cowherd said.

In a crowded NFC West that includes the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, and Arizona Cardinals, Cowherd still believes that this new-look roster can make it happen.
Their defense is slated to be strong, which could certainly be a positive, and if Darnold plays anywhere close to how he did in Minnesota last year, the offense could click, even without a player like Metcalf.
Darnold does have Jaxon Smith-Njigba to throw to, as well as newly-added Cooper Kupp as a veteran option.
This roster might not look like one of the league’s best on paper, but there’s certainly reason to believe that they could compete in this division.
The 49ers struggled with health last year, and the Rams have also lost their fair share of pieces, which could lead to some early-season hiccups.
At this point, the division is truly up for grabs, so who is to say that the Seahawks can’t pull it out?
