And one punter has gone pretty big on a top-ten finish.
Oddschecker report the Seagulls rank second, taking into account business since July 1, in the most popular bets in the Top 6 Finish market.
Of all top-six bets, 15% have backed Albion, who are currently priced at 5-1 to match or better their best-ever top-flight finish.
Albion came sixth in 2022-23, a season which they started under Graham Potter and then handed command to Roberto De Zerbi.
The current odds mean an implied possibility of 16.7% that Albion end up in the top six.
Another market where they rank highly in the total bets is in the Top Half Finish market, where they are the second highest backed team in August.
At 4-5, the oddsmakers are giving a 55% probability that Fabian Hurzeler's side achieve another top-ten finish this season.
Oddschecker spokesperson Leon Blackman said: "Throughout pre-season, Brighton have been one of our most backed teams to have a strong campaign.
“Ranking second in bets for both a top-six finish and a top-half finish, they have also been involved in the biggest Premier League wager we have taken this summer.
“One punter has staked £500 on Albion to finish in the top half at 4-5, aiming for a £400 profit if the Seagulls deliver."
Odds-setters have Albion at the same odds to make the top four as they are to be relegated, which are both quoted at 20-1.
They are 250-1 to win the Premier League.
