It's almost crunch time for Ruben Amorim and his band of many men.
Manchester United's torrid season last time out could be cast into the history books after an opening day dance with Mikel Arteta's title chasing Arsenal.
However, even with just a handful of days until kick-off, United still might make some additions to their squad. Carlos Baleba has been linked, and so too has PSG shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma - but they will face tough competition from local rivals Manchester City.
And ahead of the new season, Daily Star Sport looks at four transfers the Red Devils might get over the line ahead of kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
Carlos Baleba - Brighton to Man Utd

Amorim is still looking to strengthen his midfield - and while the Red Devils have been linked to Adam Wharton this summer, a move for Carlos Baleba is looking more likely.

However, United would have to break the bank for the 21-year-old, with Brighton wanting £120m for the youngster. The Red Devils, however, are figuring out how to construct a payment package - with one suggestion proposing an initial £80m fee.
Other packages suggest a deal could see Jadon Sancho (more on him later) head the other way.
Gianluigi Donnarumma - PSG to Man Utd

Gianluigi Donnarumma was nowhere to be seen as PSG lifted the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday evening - it had already been decided he has played his final match for the club.
“Donnarumma is out of the squad as it’s my own decision, I am 100% responsible,” Luis Enrique said. “I want a different kind of goalkeeper and I made this decision. Gigio is one of the best keepers in the whole world”.
He has been a long-term target of the Red Devils, who might be looking for a chance between the sticks. However, reports from France suggest Donnarumma is already in conversation with Pep Guardiola.

Rasmus Hojlund's career at Manchester United looks to be over before it ever really started. Benjamin Sesko's introduction to Old Trafford before their pre-season friendly with Fiorentina seemed to be the final act for the Dane.
Hojlund has been heavily linked with a move away this summer and sources suggest that a loan m valued at £5.2m - including a purchase option of £38.8m - has been explored with AC Milan.
Milan would also take on Hojlund's full salary, making the proposition even more attractive to United.

And Turkey could be the perfect option for Sancho to reboot his career. Besiktas president Serdal Adali has publicly declared his intentions, which would reunite Sancho with his former boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"Just as much as the community wants him, I want him too," he told Turkiye Today. "What matters is not only our desire, but also if the player wants to come to Turkey. We have a budget, and we will do our best to bring him here."
