For the last few years, the Milwaukee Bucks have sworn that they will be championship contenders again.
But their plans haven’t panned out, and everyone has been waiting for them to make good on their promise.
Because of this, there have been endless rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the team.
However, according to his teammate Bobby Portis, Antetokounmpo isn’t going anywhere.
“Yeah, I talk to Giannis all the time. That’s my teammate. Giannis bleeds green. That’s all I can say,” Portis said of trade rumors around Antetokounmpo, via Basketball Forever.

Just because Portis feels this way doesn’t mean Antetokounmpo won’t leave the Bucks.
Indeed, rumors about Milwaukee’s biggest star haven’t gone away, even after his team made some drastic moves.
Just a few weeks ago, they shocked everyone when they parted ways with Damian Lillard and added Myles Turner, who recently competed for a championship with the Indiana Pacers.
This follows a few other tweaks they made to the roster, such as adding support from Kyle Kuzma.
The Bucks are clearly trying to keep Antetokounmpo happy, but there is still great speculation about his future.
Will he stick around with the team, give them another season, or request a trade before the 2025-26 campaign begins?
Most reports have said he’s weighing his options, and no one would be shocked by any outcome.
Antetokounmpo has been loyal to the team and has stuck with them through thick and thin, but if he truly believes they cannot win another title, he will do whatever he must.
Portis thinks he will stay, but only one person makes Antetokounmpo’s decisions.
This is a storyline that isn’t going away, even with Milwaukee’s recent actions.
