It’s no secret that Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan can score in the mid-range with the very best. NBA 2K26’s ratings concur with that sentiment.
NBA 2K26 unveiled its top-ten mid-range shooters ahead of the game’s release on September 5th, with DeRozan included on a list that features several of the best players in the game today.
Superstars Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are also included in the list of NBA 2K26’s top long-distance threats.
Here’s where DeRozan ranks among the best shooters in the upcoming game:

Widely regarded as the ‘King of the Middy,’ DeRozan’s inclusion on this list of NBA 2K26 mid-range experts isn’t surprising.
The six-time NBA All-Star shot over 50 percent (50.6%) from 10-to-16 feet during the 2024-25 season. DeRozan also converted 48 percent of his attempts from 16 feet to the three-point line.
Over 77 games, DeRozan averaged 22.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per contest in what was his first season with the Sacramento Kings.

The Sacramento Kings may not be done making moves this offseason. New general manager Scott Perry was blunt about their need for a point guard before landing Dennis Schroder in free agency.
But he may be on the market for more guard depth. Since then, former MVP Russell Westbrook has continued to be linked to Sacramento.
ESPN‘s Tim MacMahon reported on Tuesday that the Kings remain “the most likely destination for Westbrook.”
Westbrook would provide point guard depth in the case of an injury to Schroder, while also fitting the identity that Perry’s aiming to cultivate in Sacramento’s capital.
“It appears that Westbrook, who spent the first 11 years of his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, will play for his sixth franchise in seven seasons. He won’t be returning to the Denver Nuggets after a roller coaster season in which Westbrook finished seventh in the Sixth Man of the Year voting. The all-time leader in triple-doubles won’t continue the trend of storybook homecomings for future Hall of Fame point guards, a la Damian Lillard and Chris Paul. The Thunder will hang Westbrook’s No. 0 in the rafters after he retires, but the defending champions don’t have room on the roster, much less the rotation, or the desire to tinker with the chemistry from their title run.
League sources consider the Sacramento Kings the most likely destination for Westbrook, who will turn 37 during the first month of the season. If that’s the case, Westbrook would likely come off the bench again and share ballhandling duties with free agency addition Dennis Schroder. — Tim MacMahon”
