Arsenal have confirmed a major multi-year agreement with Bitpanda, naming Europe’s leading cryptocurrency platform as the club’s Official Crypto Trading Partner. The deal coincides with Bitpanda’s official launch in the UK and marks a significant step in merging elite football with the fast-growing world of digital finance.

The partnership, unveiled on Thursday, will see Bitpanda’s branding showcased prominently at Emirates Stadium, making its debut during Arsenal’s first home match of the season against Leeds United on August 23. In addition to in-stadium visibility, the collaboration will extend across Arsenal’s digital channels, featuring player-led content, immersive fan activations, and educational initiatives designed to help supporters explore cryptocurrency safely and confidently.

Bitpanda customers will also gain access to exclusive rewards, including VIP matchday experiences, invitations to premium events, and meet-and-greet opportunities with Arsenal legends. The initiatives aim to strengthen ties between the club’s global fanbase and the crypto community, built on shared values of ambition, innovation, and long-term success.

Eric Demuth, Co-Founder and CEO of Bitpanda, emphasised the alignment between the two brands: “We’re launching in the UK with strength, scale, and ambition.

“Arsenal is more than a football club, it’s a symbol of excellence, heritage, and loyalty. That’s exactly the kind of brand we want beside us as we enter one of the most important markets in global finance and help more people set and achieve their financial goals.”

Arsenal Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot added: “We’re excited to welcome Bitpanda to our Arsenal family as the latest global brand to join our diverse stable of partners. They share our ambition and our drive to always move forward.

“As they launch in the UK for the first time, we’re delighted to be working together to support each other’s growth and sustained success.”

The agreement signals a strategic shift in Arsenal’s cryptocurrency approach, with the club scaling back its previous association with fan token platform Socios to accommodate the broader trading opportunities offered by Bitpanda.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Vienna, Austria, Bitpanda has become a market leader in Europe, offering over 600 digital assets for trading. Its UK launch delivers a secure and user-friendly platform for both novice and experienced investors, a move now reinforced by this high-profile sports partnership.
