Man United Plotting To Offer Jadon Sancho To Help Secure £100m Premier League Star

Man United are reportedly considering offering Jadon Sancho in order to sign Carlos Baleba from Brighton.

The Red Devils have conducted some impressive transfer business so far this summer. They signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to play in the number 10 roles, before also adding Benjamin Sesko as their new target man.

Sesko’s arrival has made Rasmus Hojlund a potential sell candidate. He joins up with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho, who are all expected to leave before the end of the transfer window.

United are hoping to add in midfield before the end of the window, and reports have said that they have enquired about signing Brighton’s Carlos Baleba. However, the Seagulls are reluctant to sell the 21-year-old, and have slapped a huge £100m price tag on him.

This could be difficult for Man United to match, so, it now seems they are hoping to lure Brighton with a potential part-exchange deal. According to a report by the Metro, Man United are plotting to offer Sancho as part of a deal for Baleba. The Red Devils were hoping to sell Sancho for around £25m this summer, so they could offer him plus £75m to tempt Brighton to sell Baleba, who is reportedly open to a move to Old Trafford.

Man City are also said to be keen on Baleba, but their interest could only accelerate United’s move for him so they land him ahead of their rivals.

Sancho also wanted by two new clubs

It isn’t clear yet where Sancho will go, but the winger has generated a lot of interest this summer. Both Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen, but in recent days reports have said that Roma and Besiktas are also keen.

If Sancho was to join Besiktas, he would reunite with former Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who signed him for United in the first place in 2021.

However, United may want to hold off on selling Sancho with the hope that they can use him as part of a deal to tempt Brighton to allow Baleba to leave.
