“I’m Out On the Steelers”: NFL Analyst Doesn’t Believe Pittsburgh Steelers Can Win With Aaron…

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a 10-7 record during the 2024 NFL season and lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the playoffs. Pittsburgh had Justin Fields and Russell Wilson at quarterback last season.

In 2025, they will have Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback. Mason Rudolph will be the second quarterback and rookie Will Howard will be the third quarterback on the roster. With that being said, this will be the final season that Rodgers will be playing in the NFL. Can the Steelers make a run in the playoffs with Rodgers in 2025 under head coach Mike Tomlin or no?

Rodgers played with the New York Jets in 2024 and completed 63.0% of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Can he repeat those numbers in 2025 with Pittsburgh? It remains to be seen.

Well, Chris Broussard of FS1 was on First Things First with Nick Wright and said about the Steelers,

“I’m out on the Steelers.”

Broussard is not confident about Pittsburgh entering the 2025 NFL season. Rodgers is not the same quarterback as he once was in his prime. He will have D.K. Metcalf and Pat Freiermuth to throw to, but the second wide receiver position remains a question mark for the Steelers. The defense will be fine, but it could be very tired because of the offense.

A lot of people think that Pittsburgh will finish behind the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North. The Steelers potential ceiling in 2025 is a 9-8 record and a wild card team in the AFC. Rodgers may not be able to turn back the clock with Pittsburgh for one final season in his NFL career.
