Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing back Harry Kane to the Premier League, just weeks after securing Benjamin Sesko.
Harry Kane back on United radar
Harry Kane’s Bundesliga adventure may be cut short this summer. Now, Manchester United are keeping close tabs on the England skipper’s situation at Bayern Munich, as per Football Insider.
The forward has been lethal in Germany. He smashed 85 goals in 96 appearances since leaving Tottenham. But, a Premier League return could tempt him. Reports suggest **Man Utd**’s interest has not cooled despite their big-money summer spree. The club’s new leadership, backed by INEOS, is said to view Kane as a top signing. They see him lead their attack into the UCL spots.
His reported release clause of around £56m becomes active in January 2026. But, the Red Devils might try to move earlier. That is especially with Kane’s desire to chase down Alan Shearer’s all-time scoring record. Sitting on 213 PL goals, He is just 48 shy of the legendary mark. Although, time is ticking and that means the next move could be decisive for his career ambitions.
Sesko partnership or Hojlund exit?
Head coach Ruben Amorim could face a major selection puzzle if Kane does arrive. The signing would create a lethal strike force alongside Sesko. But, it could also spell trouble for Rasmus Hojlund. His future may lie elsewhere if he struggles to nail down a place. Joshua Zirkzee, who had a subdued season, could also potential be placed on the transfer list.
The interest from Man Utd shows that the club wants to compete with the elite of Europe again. Kane’s experience, leadership and proven ability in England would give instant firepower. With Bayern enjoying his goal rush, taking him away won’t be simple. But, the chance to get his name in PL history, and a central role at Old Trafford could be too strong to resist.
