Manchester United flop Jadon Sancho has reportedly turned down the opportunity to join Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas in the summer transfer window.
According to an update by reputed German journalist Patrick Berger, Jadon Sancho is the subject of interest from Besiktas. However, the Manchester United flop has rejected the Turkish Super Lig outfit, as he does not want to move to Turkiye. Meanwhile, the talks with Borussia Dortmund have cooled, with Juventus “in the mix” to sign the English international in the summer transfer window.

Jadon Sancho has been one of the worst signings in Manchester United’s storied history since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021. The 25-year-old barely made his mark in his first few seasons with the Premier League club before a bust-up with Erik ten Hag sealed his fate. So, he has not played for Manchester United for nearly two years while spending the last 18 months on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
The English international showed flashes of brilliance in the 2024/25 season, but he could not convince Chelsea to seal a permanent deal this summer. Sancho managed only five goals and ten assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, and he has returned to Manchester United. However, his stock in the market remains high, with Besiktas, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.

Besiktas recently joined the battle for the Englishman’s signature, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen on reinforcing his squad’s offensive unit in the summer transfer window. Several candidates, including Raheem Sterling, have emerged on the Turkish Super Lig club’s wishlist, with Sancho also a viable target.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s interest in Jadon Sancho is understandable. The Bundesliga giants are scouring the market for a wide attacker after parting ways with Jamie Gittens earlier in the summer transfer window. So, the Manchester United flop is a viable target, with recent reports claiming he is ready to take a pay cut to join Borussia Dortmund.
As for Juventus, Igor Tudor wants the Serie A club to reinforce his squad’s offensive unit in the summer transfer window. Several candidates have emerged on the Italian outfit’s wishlist, with Sancho being an option worth considering.
While the Serie A giants remain “in the mix to sign” the 25-year-old Englishman in the summer transfer window, the talks with Borussia Dortmund have stalled. So, with Besiktas unlikely to be in the conversation for Sancho’s signature, Juventus may be in pole position to secure his services.
