NBA 2K26 will unite NBA and WNBA players on the court in MyTeam
NBA 2K26's fantasy team mode will allow NBA and WNBA players to share the court.
Visual Concepts has begun the rollout of news leading up to the release of NBA 2K26 in September, and today brought news regarding the popular MyTeam mode. This year, NBA 2K is adding WNBA players to MyTeam, allowing them to share the court with NBA players for the first time.
The trailer for MyTeam in NBA 2K26, narrated by Dallas Wings star rookie Paige Bueckers, shows WNBA stars like Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, and A'ja Wilson playing alongside and against NBA players. Visual Concepts has confirmed that attributes and badges will function identically across NBA and WNBA cards. New commentary voice lines have been recorded for interactions between NBA and WNBA players.
In addition to the players themselves, MyTeam mode will also feature WNBA uniforms, courts, and logos. The three-point line on WNBA courts will be moved to NBA distance for MyTeam mode. A WNBA Domination tier has been added to the mode’s suite of content.
MyTeam mode will also feature the addition of Game Changer cards, which can add multipliers for Rep or MyTeam points before games. NBA 2K26 is slated to arrive on September 5, 2025.
