Ruben Amorim has some difficult decisions to make when he selects his Manchester United side to face Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend. United begin the new league season with one of the toughest home tests imaginable and will need to strike the right balance between attacking threat and defensive resilience if they are to record a positive result.
United have spent roughly £200 million to revamp their attack this summer but might find it difficult to fit all of their new recruits into the starting line up this early into the season. Benjamin Sesko might not be fit enough to start, while Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha face stiff competition from Mason Mount for a starting role.
Amorim will also have difficult decisions to make in other key areas of the pitch, including who starts in goal and who plays at right wing-back. It means there could be some controversial picks on the opening weekend and here is a look at the potential wildcard line up United could use.
