Chad Johnson Uses 1 Word To Describe Lions’ All-Pro WR

The Detroit Lions will be out for revenge this season.

At least, that’s what you can guess from Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s training camp tape.

The All-Pro wide receiver dominated in joint practices with the Miami Dolphins.

That’s why former NFL star Chad Johnson had one word to describe him.

“Surgical,” Johnson wrote on X.

A fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, St. Brown didn’t need a lot of time to prove the doubters wrong.

The USC product has been one of the most efficient receivers in the game since he entered the league.

St. Brown has topped 1,000 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons, and he fell just short as a rookie who made nine starts in 17 games.

Last season, he had 115 receptions for 1,263 receiving yards and a career high 12 touchdown catches.

The Lions are a bit of a question mark heading into this season.

On the one hand, they have their core players for another year, and they’re coming off leading the league in points per game and posting the second-most yards per game.

But with offensive coordinator Ben Johnson now head coach of the Chicago Bears, and judging by quarterback Jared Goff’s postseason woes, some doubt they will be as good as they were last season.

It will be up to St. Brown to prove everybody wrong again.
