Former Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. plans to play what would be his 11th NFL season this fall, he said this week.
“Not done yet… thanks for (your) concerns and have a blessed day,” Beckham Jr. wrote in a post to X on Tuesday.
Beckham Jr., 32, most recently played in nine games for the Miami Dolphins last season, recording nine catches for 55 yards, before he was waived by the team in December. He has played for four different teams since 2021, including the Dolphins (2024), Baltimore Ravens (2023), Los Angeles Rams (2021) and Browns (2021). He missed the 2022 season due to a torn ACL he suffered in the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Now, as the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year looks to continue his NFL career, there appears to be interest from a few unspecified teams across the league.
“Three-time Pro Bowl WR Odell Beckham Jr. has drawn interest from several teams and plans to play somewhere in 2025, per source,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero wrote in a post to X on Wednesday.
“Ahhhh finally real news… much love,” Beckham Jr. replied to Pelissero’s tweet.
For his 10-year NFL career, Beckham Jr. has 575 receptions for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns in 119 games.
“It’s hard to see Beckham being anything close to the player he was even when he was with the Browns, but in the right role he could probably still contribute for a team with a good quarterback and an offense that can scheme him open,” said Dan Labbe, Browns beat reporter for cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer.
